Yay it's the Weekend
Finally, another great three day weekend broght to you by religion and our beloved American government. What is there to do this weekend anyways. See, its good to have the weekend come along but sometimes it seems a little pointless when there is nothing to do on the weekend. Sometimes I'm torn between staying home and getting things done/ spending time with family and fufilling my own wants by going out and hanging loose with my friends. Moderation is everything I guess. Hrmph, what an overused phrase. But in all truthfulness, it really is true. Somebody can eat all the vegetables they want but if they dont eat anything else, a good thing can be bad. I mean, look at all these studies that say, oh chocolate is bad, wine is bad... a few months later what do you know, "new studies have shown chocolate and wine lowers your chances at getting a heart attack!" Well hey now, I think chocolate will still make you fat. Whatevers. Back to the weekend though... Weekends are a time of procrastination. I always find myself saying, oh three day weekend, I can do my homework the wholleeee time, I'll just relax today. The day passes, and goes onto the next. I figure I have a couple more days, why not just put it off again. Day passes, more days remain, put it off again. Finally Sunday night comes along and I am stuck with a bunch of homework assignments and can't do anything about em. Why do we even need to do homework. PSH.
