Time to Forget
I feel like my life has recently been full of forgetfulness. From my incident this weekend in leaving my backback in my friends car to the simple leaving my lunch at home, each misstep has built a web of confusion in my mind. Forgetting my backpack this weekend meant no homework for me. As good as it sounds, it really wasn't that great. You really realize how much you are missing when something does go missing. It's kind of like when you lose something. "You don't know what you have till it's gone." Oh how true that quote is. One time I can recall forgetting my cellphone at a beach house I went to during summer vacation. Cell phones are probably the worst, ABSOLUTE WORST, things to lose, break or forget. When I forgot mine, I felt so disconnected from everyone. Unless I were to memorize all the numbers in my phonebook, which I didn't, I had pretty much no connection to any of my friends, nor did they have any connection to me. I guess it is kind of weird how much I have come to take my cellphone for granted though. It wasn't till 8th or 9th grade that I got a cellphone. Nowdays you even see third and fourth graders with them. It's crazy. OKAY
